Naturalist Trail Rides & Pack Trips
Summer trips afford you and your family or group the opportunity to experience the rugged contry along the Continental Divide, an area rich with lakes, streams, abundannt wildlife and wildflowers at altitudes from 6,000 to 11,000 feet.
Combine a scenic wilderness horseback ride or hike with some fabulous trout fishing in the high country - where you'll find alpine lakes and miles of pristine mountain creeks and streams all filled with hungry trout.
Pack Trips
For pack trips, we have a base camp set up in the wilderness ahead of time. We ride out from it to surrounding points of intrest, coming back in the evening to a good meal, including wild edibles, shower and comfortable cots. Another type of pack trip is a "gypsy" style, touring daily through the wilderness, stopping each evening at a different camp site.
For trout fisherman, there are many pristine stocked lakes and creeks. Rock Creek (one of the six Blue Ribbon trout streams in the U.S.) is just a few minutes drive away!
