Wild Skies Outfitting is located in the Anaconda Pintler Wilderness and surrounding Deerlodge and Beaverhead National Forests. Hunting districts 211,214 & 321 in which we have exclusive outfitter rights in our permitted area.

The elevations boast high alpine basins and meadows, dense stands of timbered peaks, and alpine lakes. This region offers excellent hunting for elk, deer, bear, moose, mountain goats, and bighorn sheep.

Game movements are greatly affected by changes in weather conditions. With over 300,000 permitted acres, we can change our location and/or technique as needed to assure you a successful hunt.

All Hunts include full outfitter and guide service, retrieval and transportation of game to the nearest qualified processor, skinning and caping of your trophy and delivery to a taxidermist. We will also pick you up and return you to the airport. All you need to bring is your personal gear, a warm sleeping bag, the weapon of your choice, ammunition and your license. A "what to bring" list will be sent to you months before your arrival.

Our fully-trained, licensed and seasoned guides are professionals with the highest of standards. They take great prides in their abilities and success and in making your hunt a fulfilling experience, Through their knowledge of our area and the game we hunt, you will soon learn to trust their judgement and expertise. Every effort will be made to make your hunt productive and memorable.

For those that wish to hunt as our forefathers did, we invite you to try out our pack-in hunt trips. We are permitted for seven different camps, located in remote back country and accessible only by horseback or on foot.

All Camps are set up well in advance of your arrival, offering well-maintained equipment, large comfortable wall tents, cots, woodburning stoves, tables and chairs. Each camp also has a cook tent, where you will enjoy delicous Montana mountain meals. Each camp has guides, cots and wranglers to attend to your specific needs.
